to Ubin...

Got raid by these guys :(

Due to APEC 2009, Singapore scared that terrorists will infiltrate to S'pore via Ubin to kill Obama... They send the big boys there (COMMANDOS!!!) to patrol Ubin. And they are everywhere in Ubin, with their camouflage and all... To kill anyone going to threaten S'pore.

So cool... Went Ubin to spot commandos instead of wild boars and creatures. LOL :D

But sad lor... Commandos Camp is so near Changi Jetty... Who dare to infiltrate.

I KNOW...

Have a feeling that my mind is getting stronger.

I can't stop learning from everyday things!

I no longer run away from commitments... I believe that commitments lead to action and action brings your dream nearer...

I no longer want to argue with anyone... I believe that arguing with a fool proves that there are two...

I no longer to afraid to step out the first step... I believe that we don't have to be great to start, but have to start to be great. More importantly, where we start is not as significant as where we finish...

I no longer fear failure... I believe that we learn wisdom from failure much more than success. We often discover what we will do, by finding out what we will not do. One who fears failure limits his activity. Failure is only the opportunity to more intelligently begin again.

Lastly, I no longer go for power, reputation and all... I believe that reputation is for time and character is for eternity.

Finally left some holidays for me to enjoy :)

Sooo many feelings and thoughts to be poured out till Blogging can no longer contain them.

My 8-week progaramme had been severely interupted by ***
So i guess i should start from week 2 again? I don't know.... Haiz...
Wasted one week of perserverance!

C.S.C.C is really a holiday-killer. But some people still like it. Maybe because of the two letters CC (ChorChuan? lol...)

Ok. Can't be

Can't be bothered to care about the club anymore. So far gone to none of the events except CS events and i alrdy feel that all my holidays had been filled with CSCC loh. So sorry to other event organisers out there.


Many things better to look forward than the club: Thai trip and New SEmEsTeR =D
A trip for me to relax and enjoy. New semester for me to learn new things. Hope that the next semester will be like the previous one, talking do all the jobs ^^ * so cool *

I will continue to find that somewhere out there. Byebye

HOLIDAYS!!!

Officially 20 days of holidays have passed. 50% enjoyment, 30% work and 20% achievement :)

And 3 more days to results :D

It will be fine, i hope. Anyway these dates are to remembered: 22, 24, 25,26,27,30 Sept. 1,7 Oct (before i forget...)

Mini CS event

Today I done something that I am sure none of the people reading here had done. If you do, I greatly respect you and SLAUTE you.

Had a mini cs event at Autism Association (Singapore) near clementi together with the sub com.

Learnt more about Autism like what is it about and the therapies they had to go through...

In short, they live in a different world as us. What seems normal to us, may not be normal to them...

We went there to help clear their resource room and clean up their children centre. We got ourselves spilt into two grps. 1 grp will clean the children centre and the other will clear their resource room.

My grp is the one clearing the resource room. We move their old furniture up their lorry and travel to the neighbourhood rubbish dump. Me joshua and PJ sat at the back of the lorry. When the lorry "go-stun", we were like praying that we dont end up inside the rubbish dump.

Ok... We ended up at the entrance of the rubbish dump. (HENG!)

But oh well... The person in charge in the end still want me to carry the things in. LOL! I WENT INSIDE THE RUBBISH DUMP!!!

OH MY GOD!!!

HAHA!!! WAAA!!!! Inside the rubbish dump is really beyond my expectations!!! With some sofas, mattresses and lots of containers that are used to contain the rubbish. What we usually see inside the rubbish dump was only a big container... But it is really an eye-opener.

Like what PJ said, free exhibition :)

I feel so proud that i actually went in. Till now i still cant believe i did that. Oh my...


After the event, we were told that we can be given a chance to interact with the children with autism and their family. It is actually a rare opportunity for anyone as, none of the Autistic related Organisations will actually allowed volunteers to interact with them.
I guess the family members are over protective over them and i can definitely understand them...

Oh well... I look forward 2nd Oct to celebrate children day with them :D
